WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN

Showers and thunderstorms developed across portions of central
Minnesota shortly after midnight. The activity pushed northeast
during the early morning hours. Elsewhere it was mostly cloudy
overnight. It was very mild early this morning. Temperatures were in
the upper 40s to lower 50s across southern Minnesota with middle 30s
to lower 40s over northern areas.
Showers and thunderstorms will spread into southern Minnesota around
daybreak and progress northward through the day. The activity will
end from west to east this evening. Rain amounts from this system
will range from less than a quarter of an inch in western Minnesota
to nearly three quarters of an inch in eastern Minnesota. It will be
another very mild day with highs in the middle 40s to middle 50s in
the north with middle 50s to lower 60s across the south.
Tuesday will be another very mild day across the region. It will be
mostly sunny with highs once again in the middle 40s to middle 50s
in the north with middle 50s to lower 60s across the south.
