THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT AFFECTED THE SOUTHERN PORTION
OF STATE EARLY THIS MORNING HAS MOVED OUT OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
BY LATE THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 30S IN
NORTHWEST MINNESOTA TO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 60S IN THE SOUTH LATE
THIS MORNING.  THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT MOVED ACROSS
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA OVERNIGHT AND BROUGHT LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN...
LIGHTNING... AND SOME SMALL HAIL TO THE AREA. A COLD FRONT THAT
PASSED THROUGH THE STATE THIS MORNING WILL EXIT SOUTHEAST
MINNESOTA BY MIDDAY. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS AND INCREASING
SUNSHINE CAN BE EXPECTED BEHIND THE FRONT... WITH TEMPERATURES
REMAINING MILD FROM THE MID 50S TO AROUND 70 UNTIL TONIGHT WHEN
READING WILL DROP BACK INTO THE 30S.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL SETTLE IN ACROSS THE STATE TONIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY... BRINGING FAIR SKIES AND DRY WEATHER. SOUTHERLY FLOW
WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY... BRINGING A RENEWED CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS... WHICH WILL LINGER INTO THURSDAY. HIGHS ON TUESDAY
THROUGH THURSDAY WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM THE UPPER 40S TO MID
60S. COLDER AIR WILL ARRIVE ON FRIDAY... WITH HIGHS FROM THE UPPER
30S TO LOWER 50S.
