Weather Summary for Minnesota
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
402 AM CST Sat Jan 13 2018

Arctic high pressure contributed to another very cold night across
Minnesota, with temperatures prior to daybreak mostly in the 10
below to 25 below range. A few spots neared 35 below in the north.
Skies were clear and winds were around 5 mph or less, which resulted
in wind chill values commonly in the 25 below to 40 below range
overnight.

A clipper system will bring snow and a bout of slightly warmer
temperatures for Sunday. In the wake of the system, however, the
frigid temperatures return.
