MISSISSIPPI RIVER...

.MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW HAS ALREADY PRODUCED 4 TO 6 INCHES OF
SNOW...WITH A FEW ISOLATED REPORTS OF 7 INCHES OF SNOW...FROM
APPROXIMATELY LITCHFIELD TO WACONIA TO BELLE PLAINE TO FARIBAULT.
THE HEAVIEST OF SNOW IS PUSHING EASTWARD INTO FAR SOUTHEASTERN
MINNESOTA AND SOUTHWESTERN WISCONSIN. HOWEVER...LIGHT TO MODERATE
SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVER MUCH OF THE COVERAGE AREA THROUGH THE
EARLY MORNING HOURS...WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3
INCHES LIKELY AND ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE

  HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS: TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT THROUGH TONIGHT...PARTICULARLY
  FOR MANY HIGHWAYS AND ROADS SOUTH AND WEST OF THE TWIN CITIES.
