URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS OVER FAR SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA
AND INTO PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...

.A Winter Weather Advisory for Snow and Blowing Snow has been
issued for much of south central and southeastern Minnesota into
west central Wisconsin through 2 AM Saturday morning. The Blizzard
Warning and Winter Storm Warning have been cancelled.

Additional snow accumulations of up to 3 inches are expected the
advisory area.

In addition, sustained wind speeds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to
around 30 mph, are expected through the evening in the advisory
area. This may contribute to blowing and drifting snow, impacting
travel conditions.

The National Weather Service in Twin Cities/Chanhassen has issued
a Winter Weather Advisory for Snow and Blowing Snow, which is in
effect until 2 AM CST Saturday. The Blizzard Warning has been
cancelled.

* TIMING...Periods of light snow through this evening.

* ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Up to 3 inches through this
  evening.

* WINDS...North 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph may result in
  areas of blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
