...STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS DEVELOPING IN
WEST CENTRAL TO SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON...

.AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON
WITH STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH...WITH GUSTS AS HIGH
AS 45 MPH...ARE LIKELY...PARTICULARLY ACROSS WEST CENTRAL THROUGH
SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE
CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS.
VISIBILITIES WILL BE FREQUENTLY REDUCED TO LESS THAN A QUARTER
MILE IN OPEN AREAS OF WEST CENTRAL THROUGH SOUTH CENTRAL
MINNESOTA.

A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH EARLY EVENING FOR
AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM GLENWOOD TO HUTCHINSON...
OWATONNA AND ALBERT LEA. EASTERN AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE

  BLIZZARD CONDITIONS THROUGH EARLY EVENING. WIND GUSTS AROUND 45
  MPH WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE IN
  OPEN AREAS. VISIBILITIES WILL BE A BIT BETTER WITHIN CITY
  LIMITS.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL LIKELY BECOME DANGEROUS WITH BLIZZARD
  CONDITIONS.
