...A WINTRY MIX CONTINUES...

.FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET OVER WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA WILL
TRANSITION TO SNOW THIS AFTERNOON...WITH SNOW AMOUNTS IN THE ONE
TO FOUR INCH RANGE EXPECTED ON TOP OF THE LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS.
THE TRANSITION LINE FROM THE WINTRY MIX TO SNOW WILL PROGRESS
EASTWARD TOWARD THE TWIN CITIES DURING THE EVENING. IN
ADDITION...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TODAY WITH SPEEDS FROM 20
TO 30 MPH AND GUSTS TO 40 MPH. THIS MAY RESULT IN ISOLATED POWER
OUTAGES IN AREAS WITH ICE ACCUMULATION.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT TODAY AND TONIGHT FOR
AREAS OF MINNESOTA ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM LITTLE FALLS TO
ST JAMES. A WINTER STORM WARNING COVERS A SMALL AREA FROM WILLMAR
TO REDWOOD FALLS AS WELL AS MONTEVIDEO AND CANBY.
