...HEAVY SNOW LIKELY ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND
WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN CONTINUING TONIGHT...

.A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TONIGHT FOR
AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM LITCHFIELD...TO HAM LAKE...
TO NORTH BRANCH IN MINNESOTA...AND FOR AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 8 IN WISCONSIN...INCLUDING LUCK...RICE LAKE AND
LADYSMITH.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS ALSO IN EFFECT THROUGH TONIGHT JUST
TO THE WEST AND SOUTH OF THE WARNING AREA...STRETCHING FROM
GRANITE FALLS...REDWOOD FALLS...NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA... AND THE
TWIN CITIES IN MINNESOTA...TO MENOMONIE AND CORNELL IN WISCONSIN.

SNOW HAS DEVELOPED ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN THROUGH CENTRAL MINNESOTA
AND ADJOINING AREAS OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AND WARM FRONT. THE SNOW WILL BE
HEAVY AT TIMES INTO THIS EVENING BEFORE DIMINISHING FROM WEST TO
EAST OVERNIGHT. A VERY TIGHT GRADIENT IN SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS IS
EXPECTED GIVEN DUE TO A SHARPLY DEFINED RAIN/SNOW LINE.

OVERALL...6 TO 10 INCHES OF WET SNOW ACCUMULATION ARE EXPECTED
ACROSS THE WARNING AREA. SNOW AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED IN THE ADVISORY AREA...BUT A SHARP GRADIENT TO LESSER
AMOUNTS WILL BE SEEN ALONG THE SOUTHERN PERIPHERY OF THE ADVISORY
AREA.
