...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CHEROKEE AND CLAY COUNTIES
THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 301 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Murphy, moving east at 15 mph. A second strong thunderstorm was
located near Hayesville, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Andrews, Murphy, Hayesville, Nantahala Lake, Tusquitee, Hiawasse Dam,
Marble, and Unaka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
