...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following
  areas, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), New York (Manhattan), Northeast
  Suffolk, Northern Nassau, Northern Queens, Northwest Suffolk,
  Richmond (Staten Island), Southeast Suffolk, Southern Nassau,
  Southern Queens and Southwest Suffolk.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - The heaviest rainfall will be coming to an end by late this
    afternoon into early this evening, however, with additional
    rainfall of up to an inch flooding remains possible.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, including the following
  areas, Northern Fairfield, Northern Middlesex, Northern New Haven,
  Northern New London, Southern Fairfield, Southern Middlesex,
  Southern New Haven and Southern New London, northeast New Jersey,
  including the following areas, Eastern Bergen, Eastern Essex,
  Eastern Passaic, Eastern Union, Hudson, Western Bergen, Western
  Essex, Western Passaic and Western Union, and southeast New York,
  including the following areas, Northern Westchester, Orange,
  Putnam, Rockland and Southern Westchester.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Additional rainfall of 1 to 1.5 inches, heavy at times, may
    produce flooding, which could linger into early Sunday
    morning.
