...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 8
  inches. The heaviest snow will fall north of Cottonwood Pass.

* WHERE...Lake County including Leadville and Eastern Sawatch
  Mountains Above 11000 Feet.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM MDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slick and snowpacked roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Over a foot of snow has already fallen over
  portions of Lake County. Focus for snow will gradually shift
  southward through the overnight hours with snow decreasing from
  north to south through the morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

  will be possible this morning.
