...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT MCDONALD COUNTY THROUGH 715 PM
CDT...

At 628 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Maysville, or 9 miles east of Jay, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Big Sugar Creek State Park, Anderson, Noel, Goodman, South West City,
Pineville, Lanagan, Powell, and Rocky Comfort.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 1 and 14.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southwestern
Missouri.
