.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 1 PM, a 1019 mb high was 600 NM west of Ensenada, Mexico and a
1013 mb low covered the northern Gulf of California. Onshore flow
will increase today, leading to hazardous conditions with
stronger winds and choppy seas in the outer waters. Onshore flow
will weaken Wednesday as a coastal eddy develops. Offshore flow
will arrive Thursday and winds could become strong enough between
Oceanside and San Clemente Island to generate hazardous
conditions. Weaker winds are expected Friday and Saturday with a
coastal eddy and alternating onshore and offshore flow.
