...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKDT
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow with periods of blizzard conditions. Total
  snow accumulations of 4 to 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as
  60 mph. Visibility one quarter mile or less at times.

* WHERE...The Bering Strait and Little Diomede.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
  will reduce visibility to near zero at times. Large snow
  drifts will form.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Local areas of blizzard conditions will
  become widespread this afternoon as falling snow becomes
  heavier. The blizzard conditions continue through early
  Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. This will make travel very
difficult or impossible.

  conditions. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches and ice
  accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting to 40 mph.
  Visibility as low as one quarter mile at times.

* WHERE...Interior Seward Peninsula.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
  will reduce visibility to near zero at times. Large snow
  drifts will form.

  Visibility as low as one quarter mile at times.

* WHERE...Yukon Delta Coast.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM AKDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
  will reduce visibility to near zero at times. Large snow
  drifts will form.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds and lowest visibility
  are expected along the coast.

  significantly reduce visibility. Snow drifts will form.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Local areas of blowing snow developing
  this morning will become widespread this afternoon as falling
  snow becomes heavier.

  inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting
  as high as 40 mph. Visibility one half mile or less at times.

* WHERE...Southern Seward Peninsula Coast and Eastern Norton
  Sound and Nulato Hills.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult. Areas of blowing snow will
  significantly reduce visibility. Snow drifts will form.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain is most likely east of
  White Mountain. The Heaviest snow is expected from White
  Mountain west. Areas south of Shaktoolik will see mixed rain
  and snow.
