A COLD FRONT SITUATED ALONG THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER THIS
MORNING...WILL SINK ACROSS THE WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR REGION
THROUGH THE DAY. THE FRONT WILL BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES AND
INCREASING CLOUDS. A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS OR SPRINKLES WILL BE
POSSIBLE IN THE GRAND MARAIS AND GUNFLINT TRAIL REGION THIS
MORNING. LOCATIONS ALONG THE SHORES OF WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR CAN
EXPECT THE FRONT TO QUICKLY TRANSLATE WEST ACROSS LAKE
SUPERIOR...THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. AREAS NEAR LAKE
SUPERIOR...INCLUDING THE TWIN PORTS...CAN EXPECT AN ABRUPT WIND
SHIFT OUT OF THE EAST...AND RAPIDLY FALLING TEMPERATURES AS THE
FRONT PASSES.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 60S OVER
NORTHERN MINNESOTA TO THE LOWER 70S OVER THE EASTERN DAKOTAS.
OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL DIP BELOW FREEZING OVER PORTIONS OF THE
MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD...NORTHERN WISCONSIN AND UPPER MICHIGAN.
WARMER READINGS IN THE 50S WILL BE FOUND ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN
MINNESOTA.
