1156 PM CDT MON JUL 24 2017

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SLIDE EASTWARD FROM THE WESTERN DAKOTAS
INTO THE EASTERN DAKOTAS BY LATE TONIGHT, WHILE HIGH PRESSURE
BUILDS INTO THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES. THIS WILL RESULT IN
INCREASING CLOUDS ACROSS THE EASTERN DAKOTAS AND MINNESOTA
TONIGHT. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. ELSEWHERE SKIES WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO MOSTLY
CLEAR. LOWS RANGE FROM THE LOW 50S IN NORTHEAST WISCONSIN, TO THE
LOW 70S IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA. THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SLIDE
EASTWARD INTO MINNESOTA ON TUESDAY. THIS WILL BRING THE EASTERN
DAKOTAS, MINNESOTA, AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE MAIN
THREATS OF LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WIND GUSTS, AND HEAVY RAINFALL,
WHICH MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. ELSEWHERE SKIES WILL BE PARTLY
TO MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS RANGE FROM THE UPPER 60S IN THE TIP OF THE
MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD, TO THE UPPER 90S IN SOUTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION
TUESDAY NIGHT. STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE STILL POSSIBLE WITH THE
MAIN THREATS OF LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WIND GUSTS, AND TORRENTIAL
RAINFALL, WHICH MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. LOWS RANGE FROM THE
UPPER 50S ALONG THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER, TO THE LOW 70S IN
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA.
