...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR EAST FACING SHORES OF KAUAI OAHU
MOLOKAI MAUI AND THE BIG ISLAND...

.Strong northeast winds during the last couple of days have
produced short period northeast swell and rough surf which will
remain at advisory levels along east facing shores this morning.
Surf is expected to drop below advisory levels this afternoon.

* SURF...Along east facing shores, 6 to 8 feet.

* TIMING...Until 12 PM HST today.

* IMPACTS...Moderate, expect strong breaking waves, shore break,
  and strong currents making swimming dangerous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Beachgoers, swimmers, and surfers should heed all advice given by
ocean safety officials and exercise caution.
