THE MONTH OF JUNE FOR ANNETTE ISLAND AK, WAS ABOUT AN AVERAGE MONTH ALL TOGETHER.
TEMPERATURES WERE RELATIVELY CLOSE TO THE NORMS WITH THE AVERAGE MONTHLY
TEMPERATURE JUST ABOVE A HALF OF A DEGREE ABOVE NORMAL. DUE TO EQUIPMENT OUTAGE
THERE WAS A FALSE RECORD FOR MINIMUM TEMPERATURE ON THE 1ST. THE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 47 DEGREES ON THE 13TH. RAINFALL FOR THE MONTH WAS
JUST BELOW THE NORMAL VALUE AND THERE WAS NO FROZEN PRECIPITATION WHATSOEVER. FOR
THE MOST PART THE MONTH WAS SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE FOR WINDS PUTTING THE AREA
TOWARDS THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST FOR AVERAGE WIND SPEED. THERE WAS ONLY ONE REAL DAY
OF SIGNIFICANT WIND, ON THE 3RD, REACHING 47MPH WHICH HAPPENS TO BE THE RECORD FOR
JUNE. OVERALL, LOOKS LIKE THE WARM, WET AND WINDY TRENDS HAVE SLOWED DOWN.
