...Flooding possible along The Cedar River...
For the Cedar River the following locations are included: Charles
City.

Forecast rainfall, combined with the already moist soil conditions,
is expected to result in rising water levels. Should this forecast
rainfall materialize, flooding is possible in these areas, though
there is uncertainy with rainfall amounts and location, so keep
up to date with the latest river forecasts.


Cedar River at Charles City...The stage today was  2.70 feet. Flood
stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood stage
Saturday evening, and reach 12.20 feet Saturday evening. This would
result in Minor flooding, with additional rises expected thereafter.
