THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN COCHISE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN ARIZONA...

* UNTIL 600 PM MST

* AT 358 PM MST...DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES BOTH
  INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS ASH AND
  HUNTER CANYONS IN THE SOUTHERN HUACHUCA MOUNTAINS. AN AUTOMATED
  RAIN GAGE IN ASH CANYON REPORTED 1.73 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN
  THE PAST HOUR...AND ANOTHER GAGE IN HUNTER CANYON REPORTED 1.26
  INCHES.

  RADAR ESTIMATES THAT PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHERN HUACHUCA MOUNTAINS
  HAVE RECEIVED BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED
  TO BEGIN SHORTLY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  SIERRA VISTA...SIERRA VISTA SOUTHEAST...NICKSVILLE...RAMSEY CANYON
  PRESERVE...HEREFORD AND CORONADO NATIONAL MEMORIAL.
