.A Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River at Wabasha,
Winona and LaCrosse.

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast
precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility
vehicles. Turn Around, Don`t Drown!

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River At Wabasha.
* until further notice...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:15 AM Tuesday the stage was 12.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.9 feet by
  Wednesday morning then begin falling.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...The railroad underpass on Highway 60 may be
  flooded. Flooding is also possible along Lawrence Boulevard and
  Main Street East. Some businesses near the river may be flooded.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River At Winona.
* until Monday afternoon...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  9:45 AM Tuesday the stage was 13.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 13.8 feet by
  Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Sunday
  evening.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Prairie Island Park begins to flood. Pumping
  operations are underway by the city of Winona, and dike patrols are
  started.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River At La Crosse.
* until Tuesday May 30...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:15 AM Tuesday the stage was 11.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage this afternoon and continue to
  rise to   near 12.7 feet by Thursday morning. The river will fall
  below flood   stage by Monday morning.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Pettibone Campground and RV Park is
  flooded.   Road access to the north end of the Shore Acres
  development is impacted by flooding. Some lowland flooding occurs
  in other areas near the river.
