FLOOD STATEMENT...CORRECTED

For the Lower Humboldt River, including Battle Mountain...Comus,
minor to moderate flooding is occurring and is expected to
continue.

...Minor to Moderate Flooding continues along the reach of the
Lower Humboldt River...

Minor to moderate flooding is occurring around the Battle Mountain
area and also downstream at Comus and Winnemucca. The stage along
the river at Winnemucca was at 19.9 feet Monday morning. The
Humboldt River at Comus is rising again and will prolong high flow
conditions along the stretch of river from Comus through Winnemucca.
Further rises at Winnemucca can be expected. These conditions will
last at least through Thursday.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Humboldt River At Battle Mountain.
* until Thursday morning.
* At  9:15 AM Monday the stage was 10.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 10.2 feet by late
  this morning. The river will recede but still be near flood stage
  Wednesday and Thursday.
* Impact...at 10.0 feet...Minor to moderate lowland flooding
  throughout reach. Some rural roads near the river are flooded.

  The Humboldt River At Comus.
* until further notice.
* At  9:15 AM Monday the stage was 11.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor to moderate flooding is expected at Comus and downstream
  at Winnemucca, and some areas along this reach could experience
  worse conditions.
* Forecast...The river will remain near 11.0 feet
* Impact...at 10.5 feet...Moderate lowland flooding begins to
  occur throughout the reach, with some rural roads flooded.
  Minor flooding occurs in the lower parts of Winnemucca with
  sewer backups. The main area impacted is between the Union
  Pacific Railroad and Second Street beneath Interstate 80.
  Property damage in Winnemucca is expected to be minimal.
* Impact...at 11.0 feet...Moderate to major lowland flooding is
  expected throughout the reach. Many rural roads near the river
  get flooded. Minor to  moderate flooding can be expected in
  the lower portions of winnemucca. The main area impacted is
  between Union Pacific Railroad and Golconda Street on West and
  Second Street on the east, beneath Interstate 80.
