Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
415 AM MDT Tue Sep 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Fire weather concerns will
remain low as an upper trough over the Desert Southwest into
Montana and high surface pressure over the Great Plains keeps cool
and moist conditions. Isolated to scattered showers will develop
this afternoon primarily around Summit and Park Counties. The wind
will be generally light across the area. Dispersion will be poor
east of the Continental Divide with good to very good dispersion to
the west.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday through Saturday...
Cool and moist conditions will prevail Wednesday and Thursday as a
low pressure system moves from the Desert Southwest into the Central
Rockies. Rain appears likely Wednesday night with snow above 10,500
feet MSL. A warming and drying trend is expected for Friday and
Saturday. Breezy conditions may develop over the higher terrain
Saturday, ahead of the next approaching Pacific system.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
