Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England...CORRECTED
National Weather Service Taunton MA
521 PM EDT Sun Oct 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Mainly dry weather will persist on Monday, but a spot shower or
two can not be ruled out during the afternoon with temps remaining
above normal. A slow moving cold front will bring rounds of heavy
rain showers Tuesday.

Relative humidities for both Monday and Tuesday will be above 65
percent.

OUTLOOK...Wednesday through Sunday...

A slow moving cold front will bring rounds of heavy rain showers
and isolated thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday. Strong
to damaging wind gusts are also possible, namely Tuesday night
into early Wednesday. A few showers may linger into Thursday, but
a trend towards drier and more seasonable temperatures is
expected Thursday into Friday as high pressure builds over the
region. The high will shift offshore next weekend and behind it a
return to above normal temperatures is likely.
