Fire Weather Planning Forecast for New Mexico and Far West Texas
National Weather Service El Paso TX/Santa Teresa NM
137 PM MDT Tue Sep 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Drier west to southwest flow will resume over the region and area
fire zones...ahead of a developing low pressure trough over the
western states. Breezy to locally windy afternoons will be on tap
through mid week with slight chances for late day storms...mainly
for area mountains and over the southern deserts. Winds turn more
southerly later this week...as the trough deepens further over the
west. This will return storm chances for all areas Thu. Min RH
will range from the lower 30s over the bootheel...to the upper
teens across the Tularosa basin. Values Thu climb to the middle
20% range lowlands...to lower 40`s over area high country.
