FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
259 PM CDT TUE MAY 24 2016

.DISCUSSION...
A WARM AND DRY WEATHER PATTERN WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE CENTRAL
TN VALLEY THROUGH THURSDAY, WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES IN THE
UPPER 80S/LOWER 90S FORCING RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES DOWN INTO
THE 35-40% RANGE. TRANSPORT WINDS IN THE 15-20 MPH RANGE AND
MIXING HEIGHTS BETWEEN 6000-7000 FT WILL MAINTAIN GOOD SMOKE
DISPERSION BOTH WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. A GRADUAL INCREASE IN
LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE WILL OCCUR BY THE END OF THE WEEK, AND THIS
WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM FRIDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
