FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
237 PM CDT FRI AUG 29 2014

.DISCUSSION...
WETTER WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL RETURN BEGINNING LATER TONIGHT...BUT
MAINLY ON SATURDAY AS A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL SYSTEMS MOVE ACROSS
THE AREA. THE BEST CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE IN THE
WESTERN HALF OF NORTHERN ALABAMA. WINDS WILL TEND TO BE LIGHT OUT OF
THE SOUTH TONIGHT AND SATURDAY...BUT COULD TEND TO BE GUSTY FROM
THE SOUTHWEST DURING ANY THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. SOUTH-SOUTHWEST
WINDS WILL INCREASE ESPECIALLY IN THE WEST ON SUNDAY...WHICH WOULD
HELP OVERALL WITH DISPERSION.

CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER INTO SUNDAY MORNING
BUT WILL BEGIN TO DECREASE LATER ON SUNDAY AND FOR LABOR DAY.
