.DISCUSSION...

Patchy fog. some locally dense, is possible southeast of a line
from Vinemont to Mentone this morning. Otherwise, high pressure
will keep things very hot and humid. Make sure to stay hydrated
if working outside.

A shower of thunderstorm is possible this afternoon east of a
Cullman to Scottsboro line.  Otherwise, isolated to scattered showers
and thunderstorms are expected to return to the forecast Friday night
into Saturday. Frequent lightning and gusty winds to around 50 mph
are possible with any stronger thunderstorms. Light winds and mixing
height between 5000 and 7000 feet are expected through Saturday. Fair
dispersion index values are also expected.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy dense fog is possible
east of a line from Vinemont to Fort Payne this morning.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
