Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
538 AM EST Mon Feb 27 2017

.DISCUSSION...A passing upper disturbance will bring a threat for
a few showers and sprinkles, mainly this morning. Unsettled
weather and above normal temperatures are then expected through
midweek as a low pressure system develops and tracks from the
Plains into the Great Lakes and southern Canada. The best chances
for a more widespread and substantial rain will come Tuesday into
Wednesday evening when total rainfall for that period could reach
or exceed one inch. Severe weather and locally heavy rainfall will
also be a possibility during this time frame. Colder weather will
return for the second half of the week.
