FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
AND SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL LOUISIANA FOR LOUISIANA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LAKE CHARLES LA
355 PM CDT THU AUG 28 2014

.DISCUSSION...
SCATTERED DAYTIME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED
FRIDAY AS A DISTURBANCE LINGERS OVER EASTERN TEXAS. RAIN CHANCES
WILL INCREASE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY AS ABUNDANT MOISTURE OVER
THE AREA INTERACTS WITH AN EASTWARD MOVING DISTURBANCE EXITING THE
SOUTHERN PLAINS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO AVERAGE BETWEEN
ONE TO TWO INCHES. HOWEVER GIVEN THE ABUNDANT MOISTURE...THERE IS
THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AT TIMES.
