.DISCUSSION...Dry and warm today with afternoon highs in the low
to mid 80s. Surface winds will increase to 5-10 mph out of the
southwest by late morning. Sufficient mixing heights will support
good dispersion in the afternoon. Thursday will be hot with
afternoon highs in the upper 80s to near 90. Widespread showers
and scattered thunderstorms are expected Friday, with brief heavy
rainfall and lightning.
