FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN/CENTRAL MO AND SOUTHWEST IL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO
1132 AM CDT WED APR 23 2014

.DISCUSSION...
ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER IS LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MISSOURI DUE TO VERY DRY FUELS...SOUTHEAST WINDS AROUND 15 MPH...AND
MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES BETWEEN 25 AND 30 PERCENT.
A TROUGH WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA ON THURSDAY BRINGING WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH MUCH HIGHER RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES
AS A RESULT OF THE INCREASED LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE. FRIDAY WILL BE DRY WITH
SOUTHWEST FLOW BEHIND THE FRONT. ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING RAIN TO THE
AREA THIS WEEKEND.
