FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
405 AM EDT Wed Oct 18 2017

...Warm and dry weather will last into Saturday...

.DISCUSSION: Temperatures will climb 10 to 20 degrees above
normal with breezy winds expected during the afternoon hours
through much of the week. The windiest day is expected to be today
as southwest winds increase through the late morning into the
afternoon hours. A few gusts upwards of 35 to 45 mph will be
possible across the east half of Upper Michigan. Much drier air
will move into the area and allow humidity values to
drop down into the 20s and 30s Thursday afternoon. Do not expect
this drier airmass to linger long across the area, as the lowest
afternoon RHs should increase to 40 to 60 percent by Friday
afternoon. No precipitation is expected until late Saturday across
the west, then chances for showers will increase from west to east
across Upper Michigan through Sunday.
