Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
736 AM MDT Wed Aug 23 2017

.Discussion...
The best chance for thunderstorms will be today and Thursday with
residual monsoon moisture and weak disturbances moving across
the area. A drier weather pattern will set up for Friday through
early next week, though there will still be sufficient moisture
for at least isolated thunderstorms each day. Temperatures will
be near normal, though a cold front will bring a slight cool down
by late weekend into early next week. This front may also bring
an increase in thunderstorm coverage to the southeast mountains
and plains during this same period.

Afternoon smoke dispersion rates will rise into the good to very
good category both today and Thursday.
