.DISCUSSION...

Warmer conditions will spread into the area on Sunday as gusty
southerly winds and dry conditions occur through the afternoon
hours. Locally elevated fire weather conditions may be possible
across eastern Kansas into west central Missouri Sunday afternoon.
Sunday night into Monday scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorm will be possible possible. A front will then sag into
the area mid week bringing better widespread rain chances and
heavy rainfall Monday night through Wednesday. A light wintry mix
may be possible on the back side of this weather system Tuesday
night through Wednesday night. Another round of moderate to heavy
rainfall may be possible at the end of next week.
