Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
1048 AM CST Tue Nov 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A dry weather pattern will continue through this weekend with the
low level air mass also remaining dry. Brisk south to southwest
winds this morning will shift to the north and become gusty behind
a passing cold front this afternoon. Locally elevated fire weather
conditions may develop this afternoon behind that front across
southeastern Kansas and west-central Missouri. Cooler and very
dry conditions are then expected for Wednesday with a warming
trend late in the week.
