...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

THE PROLONGED HEAT WAVE OVER THE REGION WILL PERSIST THROUGH MONDAY
THEN EASE DURING THE COMING WEEK. HOWEVER, SEASONALLY HOT AND DRY
CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST. FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL BE ELEVATED
MONDAY AS SOUTHWEST WINDS INCREASE MONDAY AFTERNOON WITH EXTENSIVE
AREAS POSSIBLY GUSTING OVER 35 MPH. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE OVER THE SOUTHERN SIERRA EACH AFTERNOON TODAY AND SUNDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT CENTERED OVER SOUTHERN ARIZONA AND NORTHWEST
MEXICO WILL CONTINUE VERY HOT WEATHER THROUGH THE WEEKEND FOR INLAND
AREAS WITH THE MARINE LAYER KEEPING COASTAL AREAS COOLER WITH
HIGHER HUMIDITIES. MID LEVEL MOISTURE AND CLOUDS MOVING
NORTHWESTWARD ACROSS THE AREA THIS MORNING WILL DECREASE DURING THE
AFTERNOON. HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL WEAKEN AND MOVE TO THE SOUTH
NEXT WEEK AS A PAIR OF LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS MOVES INLAND TO THE
NORTH THORUGH WEDNESDAY. THIS WILL BRING COOLING FOR INLAND AREAS
WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES NEAR AVERAGE FOR WEDNESDAY INTO NEXT
WEEKEND. THE MARINE LAYER WILL DEEPEN WITH COOLING AND HIGHER
HUMIDITIES EXTENDING INTO PORTIONS OF THE INLAND VALLEYS FOR THE
LATTER HALF OF NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

VERY HOT CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THIS WEEKEND WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE
OF ISOLATED AFTERNOON T-STORMS OVER S. GILA CTY--MOSTLY ON SUN.
EXPECT MIN RH VALUES OF 7-12 PERCENT FOR THE LOWER DESERTS WITH
POOR-FAIR OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES ON SAT IMPROVING TO FAIR ON SUN.
SLIGHTLY BREEZY W-SW WINDS WITH GUSTS OF 14-20MPH ARE EXPECTED
DURING THE LATE AFTERNOONS AND EARLY EVENINGS.
