...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS
SOUTHERN NEVADA...THE SIERRA...AND NORTHERN MOHAVE COUNTY THIS
AFTERNOON AS A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM INFLUENCES THE AREA. A
WARMING AND DRYING TREND WILL COMMENCE TUESDAY WITH HEAT BUILDING
THROUGH THE WEEK. TEMPERATURES FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WILL WARM TO
WITHIN A FEW DEGREES OF REGIONAL RECORDS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL STRENGTHEN OVER CALIFORNIA BRINGING A
WARMING TREND THROUGH FRIDAY WITH INLAND AREAS WARMING TO AROUND
10 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE. THE MARINE LAYER WILL BECOME SHALLOWER
DURING THE WEEK. FOR NEXT WEEKEND...A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN
THE VICINITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA IS EXPECTED TO BRING A COOLING
TREND AND SLOW DEEPENING OF THE MARINE LAYER. DEPENDING ON THE
EVENTUAL TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM...THERE ARE SMALL CHANCES FOR
PRECIPITATION...MAINLY NEAR THE MOUNTAINS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A WEAK PACIFIC LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE SLOWLY INTO
WESTERN ARIZONA TODAY...THEN SETTLE OVER SOUTHEAST ARIZONA ON
TUESDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY OVER THE MOUNTAINS NORTH AND EAST
OF PHOENIX ON TUESDAY. LITTLE RAIN IS FORECAST...HOWEVER
THUNDERSTORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE DRY LIGHTNING AND GUSTY
WINDS. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL RANGE FROM 8 TO 10 PERCENT.
GOOD RECOVERY IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT. ALSO...AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING UPSLOPE SOUTHWEST WINDS IN THE 8 TO 15 MPH RANGE ARE
EXPECTED.
