.DISCUSSION...Light and variable winds will increase out of the south
ahead of a cold front during Thursday morning, and then transition to
west-southwest behind the front during late Thursday afternoon into the
evening. The front will bring wetting rain to the area, with rainfall
amounts Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon totaling around a
half inch. In addition, very light snow will be possible Friday morning
over the higher peaks and ridges. After Friday, additional rounds of
showers will be possible during the weekend, followed by warmer and
drier conditions next week.
