.DISCUSSION...

...A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect for the burn scar
from 6 PM this evening(Friday) into Saturday night...

An upper level low pressure system will track across the region
from tonight into Saturday night allowing snow, heavy at times
to develop.  The highest potential of measurable
precipitation(100% at times) is anticipated from later tonight
into Saturday. At this time, total snowfall with this event is
expected to range from 6 to 12 inches over the burn scar.

.REST OF TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny(67 PERCENT) until 1700, then
                    cloudy. Isolated showers after 1100 until 1300,
                    then scattered showers.
LAL.................1.
Max temperature.....30-39F.
Min humidity........32-41 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........West winds around 9 mph until 1200, then light
                    wind.  Localized wind gusts around 20 mph at times.
Mixing height.......7000 ft agl.
Transport winds.....Southwest around 7 mph.
Smoke dispersal.....Good until 1500. poor after 1700.
Haines Index........3 or very low potential for large plume
                    dominated fire growth.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Cloudy. Scattered showers until 2000, then
                    numerous showers until 2100, then showers.
