.DISCUSSION...

South winds will continue across the area this afternoon ahead of
a strong cold front that will move through the area early this evening.
A few showers and thunderstorms may develop through 5 PM. The strong cold
front will move across the area between 7 and 8 PM this evening. Winds
will rapidly shift to the north behind the front, with gusts 25 to 35 mph.
The front will bring much colder conditions and a chance of additional
rain with a few embedded thunderstorms on Wednesday. Winds will remain
gusty out of the north Wednesday morning, diminishing to around 10 to
15 mph by Wednesday afternoon.

                    showers and isolated thunderstorms.
