.DISCUSSION...There is slight chance of showers and afternoon
thunderstorms near the burn area today. Any rain amounts will be
very light. A Wind Advisory is in effect from 11 AM MST through 8 PM
MST this evening. 20-ft wind speeds of 25 to 30 mph and gusts to
40 mph are possible this afternoon. Winds will generally be out
of the west or northwest. Relative humidity during the afternoon will
be around 10 to 15 percent, and critical fire weather conditions may
be reached briefly. Overnight recoveries will be fair, around
35 to 40 percent relative humidity. Winds will continue to be breezy
up until midnight, when speeds will decrease to mainly less than 15
mph. Less wind is expected on Wednesday, but daytime humidity values
will be lower, generally between 5 and 10 percent.
