This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Snow will spread across northern Minnesota Monday afternoon and
evening, bringing about 1 to 2 inches of snow, and possibly up to
3 inches.

A large system moves near the region Thursday into Friday and
brings the potential for more than 6" of snowfall to portions of
the forecast area especially in Wisconsin. Watches, warnings,
and/or advisories may be needed for this system.

A large mass of cold air follows this system and brings a
prolonged period of very cold temperatures. Wind chills
advisories, at the minimum, are likely after Saturday.

Skywarn Spotter activation will not be needed this afternoon or
tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Southwest winds will be increasing today into tonight leading to
hazardous conditions, especially for small craft. Small Craft
Advisories have been issued for a portion of the north and south
shores. See the latest Nearshore Marine Forecast and Marine
Weather Message for more details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Strong southwest winds will continue Monday and strengthen and
become west to northwest Monday night into Tuesday. Hazardous
conditions will occur for much of the nearshore waters. Small
Craft Advisories remain in effect into Tuesday evening for
portions of both the north and south shore. Additional advisories
may be needed.
