THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...WHICH WILL PRODUCE...
   OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
   BRIEF DOWNPOURS

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

  ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MAINLY
  NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS DURING THE MORNING.
  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE NUMEROUS FROM THE
  WEST ACROSS THE ENTIRE THIS AFTERNOON. STORMS WILL END WITH
  FROM WEST TO EAST THROUGH THE EARLY AND MID EVENING HOURS.

  DISCUSSION:

  A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION DURING THE AFTERNOON
  AND EARLY EVENING HOURS TODAY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
  POSSIBLE THIS MORNING MAINLY ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST AND FAR NORTH `
  CENTRAL ILLINOIS...BUT SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MORE LIKELY
  THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS EVENING ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE COLD
  FRONT. WHILE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED...THE LACK OF
  STRONG WINDS ALOFT AND STRONG DEEP LAYER WIND SHEAR WILL MAKE THE
  OCCURRENCE OF SEVERE WEATHER UNLIKELY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS
EVENING.
