This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southeast New
Mexico, southwest Texas and western Texas.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon across the
higher elevations from the Guadalupe to the Davis Mountains. Any
storms that develop will be accompanied by frequent lightning, small
hail, and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

An upper level storm system will pass through the region Thursday
and Friday, resulting in strong winds and extremely critical fire
weather conditions. A Red Flag Warning is in effect Thursday
afternoon and evening for Southeast New Mexico and areas of West
Texas to the south.

Strong west winds are expected in the Guadalupe Mountains. A High
Wind Warning is in effect Thursday afternoon through Friday for west
winds 35 to 50 mph gusting to 70 mph.
