This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for West Central And Southwest
Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Scattered thunderstorms over the adjacent Gulf waters early this
morning will push onshore the Florida west coast through the
remainder of the morning, and will then slowly migrate inland
through the early afternoon. Overall storm coverage today will be
less than previous days as some drier mid level air moves into the
region. Even so thunderstorms that do develop will be capable of
producing heavy downpours, gusty winds, and frequent lightning
strikes as they move to the east and northeast around 10 mph. The
drier air aloft will ensure that the storms end quickly during the
late afternoon and early evening hours. Remember if threatening
weather approaches your location, move indoors immediately.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected daily through the period.
The storms will form over the Gulf waters during the late night
hours with the storms then pushing onshore along the coast during
the morning hours, then shifting east to inland locations each
afternoon. Locally heavy downpours, frequent lightning strikes,
and gusty winds will accompany the storms. If lightning is
observed or thunder is heard move indoors immediately.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today.
