...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  GALVESTON BAY...

AT 517 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE
OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE
LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 18 NM WEST OF CRYSTAL BAY TO 23
NM WEST OF UPPER SAN JACINTO BAY...MOVING EAST AT 35 KNOTS. THESE
STORSM WILL LIKE IMPACT AREAS ALONG THE SHIP CHANNEL FROM THE
TURNING BASIN THROUGH BEACH CITY TO NEAR ANAHUAC.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
