...GALES WATCH IN EFFECT WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

AREAS OF DENSE FOG REMAIN ACROSS THE LOCAL AREA BAYS AND
WATERWAYS THROUGH THE EVENING. VISIBILITIES HAVE IMPROVED ACROSS
THE OFFSHORE WATERS FROM BAFFIN BAY TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL FROM
20 TO 60 NAUTICAL MILES OUT.

A GALE WATCH IS THEN IN EFFECT LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS A COLD
FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. SUSTAINED WINDS NEAR GALE FORCE ARE
EXPECTED WITH FREQUENT GALE FORCE GUSTS THROUGH THE DAY THURSDAY.

MILES OUT. A GALE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT
THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* WINDS: 25-35 KNOTS WITH FREQUENT GALE FORCE GUSTS.

* SEAS: BUILDING TO 11 TO 13 FEET WITH OCCASIONAL HIGHER SEAS.

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING

REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
