URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...COLD FRONT AND DEVELOPING COASTAL TROUGH WILL BRING STRONG
WINDS...

.A cold front will move into the Middle Texas Coastal waters
tonight, increasing the pressure gradient and resulting in a
strong offshore flow. Occasional gusts near or above gale force
are expected on Friday morning. Offshore flow will begin to
diminish Friday afternoon.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 6 PM CST FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Small
Craft Advisory, which is in effect from 1 AM to 6 PM CST Friday
for the entire Middle Texas Coastal Waters.


* WINDS...Increasing overnight to 20 to 25 knots over the northern
  gulf waters north and east of Port Aransas and 25 to 30 knots
  over the southern gulf waters south and east of Port Aransas. A
  few gusts 35 to 40 knots in the morning.

* WAVES/SEAS...Building to 6 to 9 feet nearshore and 8 to 10 feet
  offshore with occasional seas of 11 feet nearshore and 13 feet
  offshore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
and/or seas of 7 feet or greater are expected to produce
hazardous conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners...
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions. Mariners should pay close
attention to the marine forecast...and consider wind and sea
conditions in planning.

for the bays and waterways Baffin Bay to Port O`Connor.

* WINDS...Becoming North 20 to 25 knots.

* WAVES/SEAS...Choppy to rough.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
and/or seas of 7 feet or greater are expected to produce
hazardous conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners...
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions. Mariners should pay close
attention to the marine forecast...and consider wind and sea
conditions in planning.
