...GUSTY WINDS AND BUILDING WAVES EXPECTED TODAY...

.GUSTY SOUTH WINDS WILL DEVELOP TODAY AHEAD OF LOW PRESSURE AND
AN ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT. THIS WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS
TO SMALL CRAFT BY MID MORNING...THAT WILL LAST INTO TONIGHT.
WINDS AND WAVES WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE BY EARLY TUESDAY MORNING AS
WINDS VEER WEST...THEN NORTHWEST.

TO 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...SOUTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 KTS BY MID
  MORNING...AND WILL REMAIN GUSTY THROUGH THE EVENING.

* WAVES...WAVES WILL BUILD TO 4 TO 6 FT BY THIS AFTERNOON. THE
  HIGHEST WAVES ARE EXPECTED TO BE ON THE NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
  MICHIGAN OFF OF NORTHERN DOOR COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
  EVENING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OVER 20 KNOTS OR
WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
