URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...HAZARDOUS MARINE CONDITIONS IMPACTING THE REGION...

.A SURFACE RIDGE CENTERED OVER THE GREAT LAKES EXTENDS TO THE CENTRAL
GULF OF MEXICO WHILE AN OPEN SURFACE LOW EXTENDS ALONG THE NORTHWESTERN
GULF. THE PRESSURE GRADIENT BETWEEN THOSE FEATURES IS SUCH THAT WINDS
AND SEAS WILL LIKELY REMAIN HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT THROUGH MUCH
OF THE DAY. WEAKENING GRADIENT LATER THIS AFTERNOON WILL ALLOW FOR
WINDS TO RELAX.

VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
