TWO BAND OF STORMS ARE MOVING THROUGH THE REGION TONIGHT. THE
FIRST AND STRONGER BAND EXTENDS FROM ST MARTIN TO ST MARY PARISHES
SOUTHWEST TO 60 MILES OFFSHORE OF FRESHWATER CITY. THE SECOND BAND
EXTENDS FROM RAPIDES PARISH SOUTHWEST THROUGH JEFFERSON COUNTY AND
THEN INTO THE COASTAL WATERS. THE BANDS ARE MOVING EAST WHILE
INDIVIDUAL CELLS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THESE TWO BANDS
REPRESENTS FRONTAL BOUNDARIES WITH PATTERSON IN ST MARY PARISH
REPORTING 72 DEGREES... AND JASPER IN THE LAKES REGION OF
SOUTHEAST TEXAS REPORTING 44 DEGREES.
