...Hazardous Boating and Surf Conditions This Afternoon...

High pressure to the north will continue breezy east winds which
will produce hazardous surf conditions. Breaking waves of 5 to 7
feet will produce rough pounding surf and possible minor beach
erosion around the time of high tide early this evening.

There will also be a high risk of rip currents due to a long period
east swell. The surf will be dangerous for all levels of swimmers
today. If you choose to enter the dangerous surf...do so within sight
of a lifeguard and never swim alone.
