.NOW...
THE EAST COAST SEA BREEZE HAD PUSHED WELL WEST OF THE FLORIDA
TURNPIKE BY MID AFTERNOON. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS LINGERING BEHIND THE BOUNDARY WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN
AND DISSIPATE THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON AS THEY DRIFT SLOWLY SOUTH.
DUE TO THE SLOW STORM MOTION...ANY REMAINING SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL BE
CAPABLE OF GENERATING HEAVY DOWNPOURS WITH RAINFALL EXCEEDING ONE
INCH IN LOCALIZED AREAS.

AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW TO MID 80S ALONG THE
COAST. INLAND TEMPERATURES GENERALLY WILL BE IN THE UPPER 80S...BUT
WILL DROP INTO THE MID TO UPPER 70S WHERE RAIN HAS FALLEN.

A WARM ONSHORE BREEZE AND SMALL SWELL WILL CREATE A MODERATE RISK
FOR RIP CURRENTS AT THE BEACHES OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA. THE THREAT
WILL BE HIGHEST THROUGH 8:00 PM THIS EVENING DUE TO TIDAL EFFECTS.
ALWAYS SWIM WITHIN SIGHT OF A LIFEGUARD AND NEVER SWIM ALONE IN THE
SURF.
