THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 PM
MDT THIS EVENING.

* LOCATION...MUCH OF CENTRAL...WEST CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND
  SOUTHWESTERN NEW MEXICO.

* WINDS...SUSTAINED FROM THE SOUTH AT 25 TO 35 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL
  GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

* TIMING...INCREASING IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON AND PEAKING IN THE
  MID TO LATE AFTERNOON. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DECREASE IN SPEED
  AROUND SUNSET.

* VISIBILITY...SOME LOCALIZED AREAS OF BLOWING DUST MAY
  OCCASIONALLY REDUCE VISIBILITY TO AROUND 3 MILES.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...STRONG CROSS WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED ON WEST-EAST
  ORIENTED ROADS SUCH AS INTERSTATE 40. LAWN FURNITURE...GARBAGE
  CANS...AND OTHER LOOSE ITEMS MAY BECOME TOSSED AROUND OR LOFTED
  IN THE STRONG WINDS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WHILE TRAVELLING. SUDDEN GUSTS
