ARKLAMISS REGION TONIGHT...

.A VERY CHILLY AIRMASS HAS SETTLED OVER THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
REGION. CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO FALL
INTO THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S FOR MOST OF THE REGION BY DAWN
WEDNESDAY. THESE TEMPERATURES WILL BE DAMAGING TO TENDER AND
UNPROTECTED VEGETATION.

* TIMING: GREATEST RISK FOR FREEZING TEMPERATURES BETWEEN
  3 AM AND 7 AM

* IMPACTS: LOW TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 28 TO 33 DEGREES IN
  COMBINATION WITH CLEAR SKIES WILL CAUSE DAMAGING FROST
  FORMATION. TENDER AND UNPROTECTED VEGETATION COULD BE
  SERIOUSLY DAMAGED. OUTDOOR PETS ACCUSTOMED TO WARMER SPRING
  CONDITIONS COULD ALSO BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY THIS LATE
  SEASON COLD SNAP.
