...NEW RAINFALL RECORD FOR APRIL 13TH AND HIGHEST AMOUNT FOR A
CALENDAR DATE IN APRIL ESTABLISHED IN FRESNO...

SO FAR TODAY, 2.04 INCHES OF RAIN OFFICIALLY FELL AT THE FRESNO-
YOSEMITE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.  THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS RAINFALL
RECORD FOR THE DATE OF 1.09 INCHES WHICH LAST OCCURRED IN 2012.

IN ADDITION, THIS ALSO SETS A RECORD FOR THE HIGHEST PRECIPITATION
FOR A CALENDAR DAY IN APRIL. THE OLD RECORD WAS 1.81 INCHES,
WHICH WAS LAST SET ON APRIL 8, 1926.
